365 foto blog: December 2010

Why start a photo blog?

Well because my literary skills are limited and I love photographs.

Why blog anything?

1. I have a bad memory and memories are good.

2. I want to take more photos to improve my picture taking.

I always seem to have an excuse not to go out with my camera and take pictures purely for my own enjoyment, having this blog I hope will give me the excuse to take more.

1^st Jan 2011 Project 356 starts.

I will post a picture every day throughout 2011 (probably) a tall order for someone who can’t remember where I just put the TV remote and cant be bothered to get up and find it even though ‘songs of praise’ has started.

If I look closely enough there is something to take a picture of every moment of every day, a snap record of my life, or capturing the amazing sometimes, wonderful world around us.

Even if I were someone usually dedicated to the cause, taking my camera out every day would be impossible, so most of the pictures in my blog will be from my phone, I that’s always have that with me.

The pictures from my phone will never be technically the best but I hope to learn and improve composition, lighting and when to take a picture. Most of all there will be memories.
